i called back number and told them to put me on thier do not call list

This person claiming to be Brian West with a thick India Indian accent left a voicemail from an 'Unknown" number; saying to call the above number because there are unpaid loans in my name from internet sites. NOT TRUE! These people refused to give any business name that they are calling on behalf of. They had my SSN!!! Demanded that I call a lawyer and get a letter to say it wasn't me. Refused to give any details as to whom to send said letter to; was incredibly rude and hung up. When I called back, saying I was a lawyer a "Tony Davis" flat out told me I was a liar and wanted a name to check on the National Bar Association list. I got a friend who is a lawyer to call, she was hung up on. Can someone please publish a list of who to call and report this kind of scam?

I received a call with an automated voice saying they could lower my interest rates on my credit card to speak to a representative press 9, so I did. Some punk answered and asked if I wanted to lower my interest rate. I said “No, I want to be taken off your calling list. I don’t do business with this company and you are calling me illegally. His reply, and I quote……“Hmmmmm, to bad” and he hung up. Punk!

nothing was said or i probably hung up too fast.

Called and wouldn't talk to me, only my husband (who wasn't here), and were rude. And we're on the "Do Not "Call" list.

On do not call list and didn't leave a message.

Not sure, did not answer, since I didn't know who the caller was.

i recieved a phone called from this number stating that i had got a loan and never got the loan and that they was going to take me to court .i had my girlfriend call me and she said that she spoke to someone and that they will not call him any more .his name is john barker .they had to get his name and number and ss#off one of the online forms that i filled out .this is a scam i think and people need to be careful about what they fill out online..if they keep call i will take them to court for harassment calls and for hacking in my email .it is against the law.

They call and hang up!

This number phones me daily threatening that I am being arrested each week bc I supposedly owe a payday advance which I have never done...When I ask for paperwork they hang up on me...They have info on me like my ss# and place of employment but, just say we will see you in court and hang up on me then start over the next day calling each time giving me the name of a different payday advance.

Keep calling after 8 at night, and I get up at 4 am.

According to NANP this is clearly a spoofed CID. There is no such rate center starting with 200. CID is easily spoofed and it is best to either blacklist the CID (once again CID can be spoofed easily) or just do not answer calls in the 200 "rate center" range - 201 is however legit.
